We sailed on a 13 night Europe cruise in August 2005 and I just think the photos speak for themselves. We sailed from Amsterdam to Belgium, Paris, Civitavecchia (the closest port to Rome), Florence and Pisa, Gibraltar, Malaga and the Costa del Sol of Spain and Portugal. What a wonderful experience. We are truly so blessed.

And just think, the Century was TOTALLY refurbished in 2006 so she is even lovelier now than when we sailed! They have added over 300 new balcony staterooms, 14 Sky Suites, and 174 more Concierge Class staterooms with fresh cut flowers every day, upgraded bath amenities, your choice of pillows from a "pillow menu" and even personalized stationery!

The staterooms onboard were spacious with plenty of place for storage. Our ocean view stateroom was larger than most I have seen. This was good thinking on Celebrity's part since we were sailing for 13 nights! We just fell in love with the Century.
The scenery made available to us on this cruise was beyond anything we could have imagined. I had cruised to the Mediterranean before but that cruise did not include the charming city of Malaga Spain or the Costa del Sol. Nor did I ever think I would see the Rock of Gibraltar, Brugge Belgium, Paris or Portugal. Returning to Rome was so wonderful. I felt like I was returning to something I had always loved. Rome gets in your blood and your soul. It is a wonderfully exciting city.
